Location and positioning

The Shepherd® platform supports integration with a number of easy to use GPS-devices. By sending a request to our platform you will receive a message back with the position of your vehicle or house hold animal. This allows you to gain full control over where they are at any given moment.

The solution allows easy access to data from standard SMS devices by using default SMS commands. Our scalable Shepherd® platform will ensure message guarantee and an easy to use API for integration towards map applications.

Knowing the positioning of animals or other goods will allow you to sleep better at night! In addition, you may find it handy to be able to set up "geo-fences" where the application sends you an alert once an animal is outside of your pre-defined area.
